was late to the event but it dint really matter much coz they were still gg thru the throngs of pple for registration.
as i stepped into the auditorium..guess who was there to greet me..azrul. haha and here i thought i wld haf to look fer some time b4 finding pple that i noe...
the next surprise was wen i was gg to the back of the queue for the registration...yazid appeared..haha i was shocked coz i dint recognise him at first and he cld recognise me. apparently due to looking thru my friendster pics. only recently got back in contact wif him.
in the queue itself..met up wif azhar DASE, azfar, zaki, azhar EEE and etc. cld almoz feel lyk some other pple mite juz spring out of nowhere..lol
den imagine my pleasant surprise when i notice tt not only yat wld b receiving the award..but mai too..and we're all seated within speaking distance frm each other (if u wanted to speak across other pple's laps and heads etc dat is ;) )
niwae, the award presentation itself was nothing out of the ordinary...one noteworthy mention for the angklung performance though..it was extremely superb. like i was saying to my seating partner, MaiS, da performance made me feel like gg to watch cultural shows agn..haha
nione wanna sponsor me? hahaha j/k ;)
aft da awards..was ushered to the back of the audi so tt we cld slip out before the VIP in preparation for our meet-n-greet session..lolz
oh yea..haf i mentioned our GOH was Mr Raymond Lim? Minister of Transport? the authority for our law related duties in aviation? hehe
oh n i met up wif didi too...she was wif her parents and uncle to support her sis getting an award..and to think she tot i was gg to be there as a mendaki volunteer etc.. -_-
shant mention hu her uncle is...but i wonder if he was xtra friendly to me coz he recognised im didi's fren or bcoz of the additional mention when my name was called on to stage...hmmm
oh well...dats it fer now..tataz!
