Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Sunday, November 20, 2005
finally caught the movie today.. wat movie? well.. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire of coz =) went to JP at 2pm..wanted to watch the one at 2.20pm but.. only the front row was left.. so me n my sis were forced to wait for the 4.30pm show.. spent the next hrs wandering ard JP..occasionally stopping at the various shops to do some window shopping.. the movie itself was... okae.. effects-wise..fantabulous! stupendous! but... (there's always a 'but' isnt there..)
the plot was wayyy too rushed..for me that is.. (and the rest of my sisters) seriously..2 1/2 hrs juz aint enough to fully capture the essence of the story.. been complaining bout all the missing scenes since the first movie...and those were thin books! expected that for this movie there were gonna be loads of missing parts.. for those who haf not read the books..good for u..u can enjoy the movies better..and be awed by the stunning effects... for us muggleborns, half-bloods and pure-bloods... we haf to suffer with trying to piece together the sequence of events in the book and the movie.. and notice the glaring discrepencies.. left the cinema feeling indifferent somehow...*shrugs* planning to watch "Just Like Heaven" with nevermore and whoever else interested in joining... "Chronicles of Narnia" looks interesting too...hmm..
