2nd April 2005
a date many will remember...

was woken up by a sudden downpour of rain. checked the time: 7.30am...30 mins b4 my desired waking time. tried to get back to slp but cldnt, had a strange feeling in my tummy...probly frm the anxiety for the day.

got to noe later tt ddad wants 20 nht magazine to b distributed during gpa...so had to disturb a number of pple early in the morning so as to fulfill tt wish...sori ddad, jib, yat, sham & anione else whom i disturbed...

surprisingly i was able to get ready faster than was usual...went to yat's hse to get the key...juz so happened that i had to wait at mls fer almoz an hr coz some1 woke up late.. :P

dup dip dop, reached peace centre at ard 11.30am...the uncle recognised us immediately & we juz had to hand him the original..while waiting..thot of taking a pic wif the bkgrd of exotic locations...but pple were looking hahaha

somerset...one station away...was in the same train as nurliyana...but we appeared later...took the chance to take photos..hehe

saw the SSPians bz getting ready...den went to eat at the fdcourt...saw hazrul nizam & took more pics...
waited for abg mas b4 entering the audi...so happened tt mls peeps were sitting behind ddad's family :)

the hosts were abit better this time round...pakaian pon lawa...mcm nak bersanding pula mereka berdua..hehe
abg mas was like asking us to guess wat the opening act wld be coz he received inside info .. :p
niwae, hazrul sang 'blah,blah,blah' & 'kaulah segalanya'... tho it was abit malu-ating that there was technical errors...ape la babe...i hope that wont happen to me on the 30th later..

performaces that i like: (in no rating order)

SP - the atmosphere portrayed was unique. cld feel the effort put in..cldnt really get good pics due to the lighting..hope the video recorded is ok..the song is lovely though it drowned out the voices a little...at some parts cldnt hear the guitar..plot was good & the performance was artistik enuf & not too abstract that it was easy to relate n thus understand. ending was quite impactful...gave a certain eerie atmosphere...a wonderful performance... tho my frenz frm other schs wld say im biased.. u weren't there so :p
Westspring - the cat concept is cute. love the song...& especially the way they ended. so unexpected and humourous.
MI - not as gd as the saringan...but relatively ok. expected sth better tho.
TPJC - it was interesting...liked the crazy character hehe...almoz feared tt we wld lose to them.

juz one comment for SRJC - the performance was too abstract tt quite a number of pple cldnt understand what was ur message. period.

distributed the nht magazines during the break...dono how many actually kept their copy...coz one was found beneath a seat at the end of the event...sakit seh hati ~

de results:....

7 prizes in all... 3 grp prizes & 4 special category prizes...

as each prize was announced...my heart was thumping like crazy...saying 'sp' with every beat...

was a bit dissapointed when we dint win any of the 4...but kept the hope tt we'll make it in the top 3...

second... Politeknik Singapura!!!!! Yessa! U guys did it! Am so proud of all of you!

all of our prayers has been answered..for this great moment.

im sure ur happiness was ten times the supporter's... (",)

aft dat, i wasnt really paying attn to the winner...shouts&screams were still overflowing from before dat i almoz dint hear westspring clinching the top spot.

who cares if we dint get first? SSP won. dats all we need to be elated for. =)
